Belgian citizens can enjoy a tax benefit (tax reduction of 30% of the donated amount per year). Therefore, include the word 'donation' and personal details (full name, national registry number and address) in an email to filantropie@vliz.be. Companies should also include the company number. We will provide a tax certificate in the first quarter of the year following the donation(s).

Researchers within the European Tracking Network (ETN) use telemetry tags to study fish and gain a better understanding of their life cycles and movements. This research has already provided valuable insights into fish behaviour, contributing to improved management and conservation of fish populations. With your donation we support the next generation of marine scientists by offering young researchers the opportunity to attend relevant scientific conferences and training courses in fish telemetry.
